Paid ads that sit on a clean foundation

Google Ads, Local Services Ads and Google Guaranteed — run on top of listing data that already agrees with itself, so you are not paying to send traffic into a broken funnel.

Channels

Three ways contractors buy demand

Each has a different cost profile and a different level of trust attached. Most of our clients run two of the three.

Local Services Ads & Google Guaranteed

Pay per lead rather than per click, and carry the green Google Guaranteed badge. Requires license and insurance verification plus a background check. For emergency trades the badge changes click-through materially — we handle the application, documentation and screening process end to end.

Google Search Ads

Campaigns built per service and per area rather than one pooled account, so you can see which trade and which town is actually profitable. Negative keyword hygiene, ad scheduling around your real dispatch hours, and landing pages that match the ad.

Retargeting & local display

Cheap reinforcement for people who visited but didn't call. Most valuable for planned work — roof replacement, remodeling — where the decision takes weeks rather than minutes.

Google Guaranteed

The badge is worth the paperwork

Google Guaranteed puts a green check next to your business above the regular ad results and backs the job with a Google-funded guarantee up to the invoice amount. For trades where the customer is nervous — anything involving their roof, their heat or their home's structure — it removes a large amount of hesitation.

Getting it is an administrative slog: business registration, general liability insurance at the required coverage level, trade licensing where the state demands it, and a background check on the business and its owner.

10 of the businesses in our directory currently carry the badge. We prepare the documentation, submit the application, chase the screening vendor, and fix rejections.

What you'll need

  • Business registration in the operating state
  • General liability insurance meeting Google's per-trade minimum
  • Trade license where the state or city requires one
  • Background check consent for the business and its owner
  • A verified Google Business Profile at the right address

That last item is the one that trips people up, and it is exactly why we do listings first.

How we run it

Boring, disciplined, and reported honestly

1

Foundation check first

We will not start paid spend on a business whose listing is suspended, whose phone number is inconsistent across platforms, or whose site takes six seconds to load. Fixing that first costs less than burning budget through it.

2

Structure per service and per area

Separate campaigns so that “emergency roof repair in Quincy” and “gutter installation in Newton” have their own budgets and their own honest cost per booked job.

3

Call tracking without breaking the listing

Tracking numbers on the website and in ads, primary number preserved on the listing itself. Swapping the number on your listing to a tracking line is a classic own-goal we see constantly.

4

Report on booked jobs

Impressions and clicks are inputs. The number that matters is jobs booked and what each one cost. If a campaign cannot show that, we turn it off rather than defend it.
